In Loving Memory of Debra Sue Cole German

Debra Sue Cole, known lovingly as "Debbie" passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, at the age of 73. A longtime resident of Pearland, Texas, Debbie was born on October 17, 1951, in Mexico, Missouri.

Debbie was the proud mother of three sons — Brian German (Betsy), Justin German (Sondra), and Aaron German (Danelle) — and the cherished "Memaw" of Dylan, Ethan, Kaira, Jillian, Samantha, Kaden, and Addison, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

She was predeceased by her sisters Joan Ball and Kay Rosenthal, her brother Robert Alan Cole, and her parents Mary (Freels) and Robert Cole.

She attended David H. Hickman High School in Columbia, Missouri, where she was active in cheerleading and choir, graduating with the Class of 1969. She went on to earn her degree in Business Administration from Stephens College, graduating with the Fall Class of 1975. Following her education, she dedicated over 30 years of service to the United States Postal Service, where she was widely respected for her dependability, kindness, and strong work ethic. Her commitment to excellence earned her several commendations for outstanding customer service. In retirement, she remained engaged and active in her community as a devoted member of the Melvin Knapp Activity Center, where she found joy in playing canasta, traveling, and spending meaningful time with close friends.

Debbie favorite pastimes included playing piano, crocheting, sewing, making jewelry with her granddaughters, and attending as many of her grandchildren's performances and events as she could. Each Christmas, she lovingly baked cookies with her grandchildren — a tradition that will be remembered and treasured for generations to come.

A memorial service to celebrate Debbie's life will be held on Friday, August 15, at Redeemer Church, 18218 Hwy 6, Manvel, TX 77578. Visitation will begin at 6:15 p.m., followed by the service at 7:00 p.m.

Flowers in her memory may be delivered to 2423 Alberton Ln on Thursday or Friday. Debbie will be laid to rest in her family's cemetery in Missouri.

Debbie's love for her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
