Deborah Louise Seawright, age 68, passed away on August 7, 2025, in Houston, Texas.

Born on September 9, 1956, in Pensacola, Florida, to Vernon and Marion Seawright, Deborah was the first of two children, followed by her younger brother Anthony "Tony" Seawright. Her early life was marked by her father's career in the Navy, which led the family to various places before settling in South Carolina. She later made her home in Texas in the 1980s.

Deborah was a true "busy bee," a fitting meaning of her name in Hebrew, and was always on the go. She loved to decorate her home with a style that was always evolving and had a special affinity for owl and bee decorations. Her home was a reflection of her gentle and kind nature.

Deborah loved the arts, with a diverse taste in music that included favorites like Queen, Lincoln Park, and Creed. She was also an avid movie buff, with a deep interest in the cinema industry and the lives of her favorite actors.

Throughout her career in customer care, Deborah excelled as both an excellent listener and speaker, a testament to her approachable and easygoing personality. This warmth and kindness also extended to her love for animals.

Above all, Deborah's greatest pride was her son, Justin Tunnicliff, whom she was immensely proud of and loved unconditionally. She lovingly baked him a birthday cake every year, a cherished tradition that spoke to her enduring devotion. Justin followed in his grandfather's footsteps by serving in the military before becoming a police officer for Galveston County, and she supported him wholeheartedly in all his endeavors.

Deborah is survived by her son, Justin Tunnicliff, and his wife, Claudia, her younger brother, Anthony "Tony" Seawright, and her dear friends, Pam and Bridgette. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, located at 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, Texas 77089, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM. A visitation will be held 30 minutes prior, beginning at 9:30 AM.
