Deborah Susan Halderman, 64, passed away on September 25, 2022. Beloved wife of Jerry W. Halderman for 32 years, his strength and reason to face each day. Devoted proud mother and avid supporter of her daughters, Amanda (Joseph) Johnston and Ashley Estacion (husband, Tyler Hansen). Daughter of Beverly (David) Sanderson and the late Thomas M. Spears Sr. Sister of the late Thomas M. Spears Jr., Kimberly (Martin) Armstrong, and Lisa (John) Phillipp. Sister-in-law of Gail Spears and Cindy (Dennis) Underwood. Daughter-in-law of Jerry L. Halderman and the late Glenda Halderman.

Deborah was born June 18, 1958, at Resurrection Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. She was highly creative, athletic, and a natural at almost anything she attempted. Her athletic abilities were many; playing basketball with her father, powderpuff football, gymnastics, roller skating, ice skating, riding horses, and demonstrating a cartwheel into the splits at her daughters' little league drill team practice. Growing up, Deborah worked at Mount St. Joseph, a non-profit Intermediate Care Facility for women and men with intellectual and developmental disabilities, in Lake Zurich, Illinois.

A beautiful woman with a heart of gold, turning strangers into friends upon meeting and constantly putting others before herself. Although Deborah gave life to only two daughters, she was a second mother to half of Sagemont and the greater Houston area. Her love extended beyond humans - her fur babies that recently crossed the doggy rainbow bridge, Ausmus and Shelby, her granddogs, horses, and the many squirrels and birds that would visit her day and night - making her a real-life Snow White.

A memorial service honoring the life of Deborah will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road in Houston.
