Deborah Denise Chambers from LaPorte, Texas went to be with our Almighty Lord and Savior on October 11, 2023. She was surrounded by family when she passed away at the age of 76 from Parkinson's disease.

Deborah who went by "Debbie" was born March 13, 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to parents William and Wauneta Byrn. She was their third of seven children. Her stepfather Glen Sommers was who she knew and loved as Dad.

Debbie moved to Texas as a young child and went on to have a long career as a beautician on the east side of Houston. She owned her own business Debbie's Beauty Salon on Maxey Road for nearly 30 years.

She was a young bride to George Edward Frautschi, with whom she had her two children. Debbie married Harry Roy "Buddy" Chambers from LaPorte, Texas in 1981. They were members of LaPorte Community Church and enjoyed camping together. She was a seamstress, an avid crafter, and enjoyed card games and casinos during her free time.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her stepdad, and two brothers, Bradley Byrn and Michael Byrn. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Chambers, who passed away in August of 2020.

Debbie is survived by her children, George E. "Eddie" Frautschi, Jr. (wife Cathy) and Tracey D. Batts (husband Fred), and her stepson, Steven A. Chambers (wife Melissa). Debbie will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Teagan Batts, Travis Batts & wife Kaitlyn, Hailey Morton & husband Logan, Rayme Vail & husband Dylan, George E. "Trey" Frautschi, III & wife Lindsay, Tyson Chambers & wife Maya, and Jared Chambers. Debbie leaves behind seven great grandchildren- Harper, Carson, Easton, Barrett, Parker, Aiden & Ella. Beverly Wise (husband Chuck), Phyllis Welch (husband Nolan), Robin Harris, and Brian Byrn (wife Teresa) are her siblings left to mourn her passing.

Due to her declining health, Debbie relocated to Schulenburg, Texas in 2019 to a facility where she could receive assistance. The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the the Regency Nursing Center in Schulenburg for their skilled care and support.

A memorial for Debbie will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 2pm at Peevey Funeral Home in Houston, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Parkinson's Foundation or CureRTD ;  which is the foundation funding research for a disorder affecting two of Debbie's great-grandsons.
