Deborah "Debbie or Deb" Lambert went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2025.

Debbie was born on February 25, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, to Charles and Dolores Kendall. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard "Rick" Lambert; her three children, Scott, Elaine, and Paul; her sisters, Laura and Diane; her son-in-law, Aaron, her daughter's-in-law, Iliana "Lily" and Heather; her grandchildren, Michael, Samantha, Noah, Asia, Quest, Rylan, Jacob, and Elijah; her great grandson, Saint; and numerous other family members and friends.

Debbie and Rick met in high school and started dating in 10th grade. They graduated from high school in 1971 and were married on June 28, 1974, at St. Mary's of Redford Catholic Church in Detroit, Michigan. They shared 50 and a half years of love and memories. They moved to Houston, Texas, in 1985, where they made a life for their family.

For much of her life, Debbie was a devoted homemaker, dedicating herself to raising her children. Once her children were grown, she worked at a local daycare and later pursued a career as a contractor secretary and scheduler for NASA. She and her daughter were proud to share the privilege of working in the same building where they would see each other every day at work until Debbie retired in 2019.

Debbie adored her family, and her greatest joy was spending time with them. She especially enjoyed swimming, watching her grandchildren play baseball and piano, playing card games and board games with her family, movie nights, listening to music, or simply enjoying the company of her beloved dog, Jelly. She cherished every moment with her loved ones, and they cherished every moment with her.

Debbie and Rick would often sit in the family room staring at each other smiling with love in their eyes. He will forever miss her and will carry her with him in his heart always.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

The service honoring Debbie's life will be at 11am, Monday, January 27, 2025, at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston TX 77089. Visitation will be 2-4pm, Sunday, January 26, 2025.
