David Charles Lynch "Big Dave" was born June 16, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Joseph Aloysius Lynch and Clare Anne Lynch. He passed away August 12, 2022 at home at the age of 72 with his wife Andrea Lynch at his side. David and his wife were married for 46 years and have a wonderful son Joseph P. Lynch. David started his own business, Lynch Construction, as a contractor 20 years ago and continued to work until his death.

David moved to Houston at the age of twelve from Philadelphia with his father and siblings. He enjoyed watching sports. He participated in little league as a coach with his son for many years. He was very proud of his reputation as a contractor and his favorite saying was "You're only as good as your last job". David loved going out to eat with friends and family. He was also very interested in the history of World War II and loved reading and watching old war movies and continuing his knowledge about this era.

David was so proud of his son Joseph Lynch and his accomplishments, from graduating from college to his career as a teacher. He loved his family and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He loved long conversations with his sister Clare Ann Kaiser who claims a record time of three hours and 10 minutes. He was close to her children, son Aaron Kaiser, wife Wendi and children Kyle, Brett, and Ava, daughter Katherine Traver and husband Wes Traver.

David is preceded in death by his father Joseph A. Lynch, his mother Clare A. Lynch, his older brother Joe Lynch and his younger brother Terrence Lynch.

David will be missed by his family, friends and neighbors. He was kind and generous and always willing to help out anyone he knew.

A celebration of life will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Saturday, August 27th, at 6:00pm.
