David Allen Burt was born March 11, 1953 in Cuero, Texas to William and Mary Burt. On Thursday May 12, 2022 he went to be with his lord in heaven. David was a long-time resident of Highlands, Texas before moving to Pasadena, Texas with his wife Cynthia Burt.

David was preceded in death by his parents and loving sister Patricia Smith. He is survived by his brother's Bob Burt and wife Jane, Ronnie Burt and wife Beth, William Burt and wife Patricia, brother-in-law Robert Smith. His children Lisa Burt and partner Beau Greenough, David Burt and wife Chastity, Michael Burt and wife Steffani, Kim Williamson and husband Travis, Kelly Morton and partner John Jacobs, Kevin Price and wife Donna. David and Cindy have 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

David was a member of the Watters Road Church of Christ, and enjoyed having breakfast fellowship with the other members of the "Watters' Road Mafia", hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley. David and Cindy loved to travel and attend all of their grandchildren's and great grandchildren's sporting and extracurricular activities.

David worked for over 40 years in the Petrochemical Industry as a process operator and supervisor. David was a hardworking husband, loving and devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather…PoPo! He was a caring friend to those who knew him, and will be greatly and deeply missed by all who knew him.

Those requested as Pallbearers are Paxton Burt, Brian Burt, Nate Brock, Alek Price, Tanner Price, and Christopher Burt. Honorary pallbearers are David Lee Burt and Devin Hawkins.

A celebration of David's life will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11:00am, with visitation one hour prior to the service at Watters Road Church of Christ, 3616 Watters Road, Pasadena, Texas 77504. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park, 8501 Spencer HWY, Pasadena, Texas 77505.
