David Matthew Beam, currently of Friendswood, Texas, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 03, 2024.   He passed peacefully in his sleep. David Matthew Beam was born on May 05, 2008 in Houston Texas to John Paul Beam and Lori Kaye Petrone Beam.

He is survived by his father, John Beam, and mother, Lori Dean, brothers, Andrew, Jeremiah, and Joshua and sister Eliyanah Beam. His grandparents Curt and Betty Petrone and Gloria and Eric Elliott, Aunts and Uncles and lots of cousins.   He was preceded in death by his great grandfather and great grandmother and step great grandfather and several cousins.

David grew up in Pearland and Friendswood, Texas and was currently homeschooling for his 10th grade year with hope of starting the dual creator homeschool program at San Jac in the Spring. David gave his life to the Lord at age 10 when he walked forward during the alter call on June 25, 2018. He was baptized a few weeks later at Calvary Houston.

David loved to play the electric guitar. After several years of acoustic guitar lessons he taught himself how to play the electric guitar. He was very artistic and loved to draw and read. He has a passion for medicine and was contemplating entering the medical field in some form or even real-estate. David loved to meet new people and could talk to anyone. He had many friends and loved to play video games online with them in his free time. David obtained his drivers license in September and his mother and grandparents purchased him a car that he adored. He loved the freedom and would go for drives just for the fun of it.

David was a beloved son and a devoted big brother. The oldest of five siblings. He enjoyed spending time with his siblings and babysitting them when needed. He was always available for advice for his younger brothers and his baby sister just adores him.  He helped his mama anyway he could, joyfully. Everyone that met David, enjoyed his company and kind disposition. He will be remembered for his kindness, helpfulness, and thoughtfulness to others.

David lived a life devoted to close loving relationships with friends and his family. He was an exceptional son, grandson, brother, and friend and will be greatly missed.  Until we see you again David, you will live in our hearts and memories forever.

David will be cremated and urned and continue to reside at his residence in Friendswood, Texas.

Friends and family are welcome to a Celebration of Life on Friday, November 8th, at 3:00pm., with visitation one hour prior to the service, at Sagemont Church Chapel Room 1113, 11300 S Sam Houston Pkwy E.  Houston, TX 77089
