It is with heavy hearts and endless love that we share the passing of Dave Trivitt, who left this world unexpectedly on May 14th, 2025. Dave was a man of strength, honor, and laughter. He was a kind, caring, and hardworking friend to all. To know Dave was to love him.

Dave was a devoted husband and father to his wife, Sandra, and daughter, Caela. He cherished his family above all else. His love for them ran deep and was evident in every hug, every joke, and every word of encouragement he shared.

Dave graduated from Pasadena High School, where he played football and basketball. He then began the next chapter of his life in the Army Reserve. Following his time in the military, Dave started his career as a skilled pipefitter with Pipefitters Local 211. His strong work ethic and craftsmanship were well known, and he was most recently employed with HAR-CON Mechanical, where he was a valued member. Dave was passionate and prideful in his work and enjoyed mentoring young apprentices.

Beyond his work, Dave was a laid-back, easy-going man. But what truly defined him was his heart. He had an unmatched sense of humor that could light up a room and a kindness that made everyone feel seen and valued. Whether offering advice, cracking a joke, or lending a helping hand, Dave gave his whole self without hesitation.

Dave found joy in the simple pleasures of life. In his early years, he loved fishing with his brothers and boating with family and friends. He was known for his barbecue skills and the way he brought people together with good food and laughter. He enjoyed cooking for everyone and anyone. He also loved hooking up the trailer and going camping with his family, creating countless memories with his friends and family that we will cherish forever.

We will remember Dave for the laughter he brought, the love he gave, and the example he set as a father, friend, and man. His spirit lives on in the stories we tell, the traditions we keep, and the love we continue to share.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Joe and Sharon Trivitt; his brothers, Bill and Mike Trivitt; and his nephew, Nathan Trivitt. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his daughter, Caela; and his dog, Zoey. He is also survived by his sister, Adonna Reid, and her husband, Roger; his sisters-in-law, Yvonne Stokley and her husband, David, and Connie Tate and Nancy Finnegan; Brother-in-law, Manuel Guerrero; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.

The funeral service will be held at at First Baptist Church of Seabrook, 1506 Bayport Blvd, Seabrook, TX 77586,  Thursday, May 22,at 4:00pm, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
