Darrell Stephen Whitehouse, 71, beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend to many passed away peacefully on January 24th, 2025. Darrell was born in Houston, TX. on July 13th, 1953 to Allie Elaine Neal Whitehouse Shry and Floyd George Whitehouse, Jr.

Darrell was raised in Houston, TX. and later moved to Pearland, TX. in 1963. he graduated from Pearland high school in 1972. After high school he joined the Air Force where he served his county for four years. He later worked for Weatherford oil for over 25 years. Darrell met Jeanette Pizzitola on December 23rd, 1994, got engaged February 15th, and had a gorgeous wedding on January 27th, 1996 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. They would have celebrated twenty-nine years of marriage this past Monday. Darrell was a devoted Catholic who truly loved his faith.

Darrell is preceded in death by his parents, Allie Elaine Neal Whitehouse Shry and Floyd George Whitehouse Jr., and his sister, Jo Ann Whitehouse Follis.

Darrell is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Pizzitola Whitehouse, brothers, Floyd George Whitehouse III, and wife Linda, David Whitehouse and wife Carol, sisters, Carol Bruno and husband Bob, Vivian Whitehouse and husband George, Lisa Theiler and husband Ernie. he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law Frankie Pizzitola and wife Rosanne, sister-in-law, Mary Ann Mustachio and husband Joe, sister-in-law Frances Porcarello and husband Anthony.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 29, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.,the Rosary will be prayed at 6:00pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00am., Thursday, January 30, at Mary Queen Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
