Loyal husband, loving father, brother, son and cherished friend, Daniel W. Zermeno, age 47, passed away unexpectedly alongside his wife on July 7, 2024. He was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to his mother Guadalupe Esquivel on July 24, 1976. He graduated from Jefferson Davis High School and continued his education at San Jacinto College where he studied Surgical Technology. He met his wife Yadira L. Zermeno in 1996 and together they had two children: a son Adriel W. Zermeno in 2003 and a daughter Ailis D. Zermeno in 2005.

Daniel was a loving father to Adriel and Ailis, his whole world. After an occupation and passion in motorcycles, he decided to pursue a career in medicine to become a Surgical First Assistant to provide a better life for his family. He was extremely dedicated and excelled in his career. His peers and mentors all relied on his kindness and expertise in the field. He was driven, motivated and worked very hard to give his children the life and opportunities he never had.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, TX 77089. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday July 17, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Mary Queen Catholic Church, 606 Cedarwood Drive, Friendswood, TX 77546. The Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 7801 Gulf Freeway, Dickinson, TX 77539.

The Celebration of Life Reception will follow at Mary Queen Catholic Church, 606 Cedarwood Drive, Friendswood, TX 77546.
