Clint Dow Ramey, 70, of Deer Park, passed away February 9, 2023 to be with the lord our God in Heaven.

Clint was born on October 9, 1952 to Lee and Letha Ramey in Alice Texas. Clint would go on to join the Marines on December 29, 1969 where he would also obtain his GED. After being honorably discharged from the Marines in 1972, but remaining on the reserves until November 13, 1975. Clint went on to graduate from Liberty College in 1974.

After graduating from Liberty College, Clint would go on to work in the Petrochemical Industry for 50 years. Clint worked with some of the best in the world and was able to Mentor so many more with his knowledge and experience. Clint, an honorable and hardworking man with integrity that could not be second guessed, was able to establish so many working relationships and develop lifelong friends.

In 1988, Clint met his beautiful bride to be Joanne Baca and would one year later marry in 1989. Clint and Joanne would go on to raise two twin boys Michael and Corey Hunold. In 2021, Clint retired and spent his time with his family and grandchildren.

Clint was predeceased by his mother Letha Taylor and father Lee Roy Ramey. Clint is also predeceased by brother Jerry and his wife Sherry Owen who helped raise Clint into a Bible thumpin', pew jumpin', Jesus lovin', devil shovin', blood bought, red hot, soul redeemin', shoutin', screamin', overcomin' child of God. Also his sister Dewina Ann Schattel. He is survived by his loving wife Joanne Ramey; his sons Corey and Michael Hunold; his daughter-in-law Jessica Prince; his grandchildren Brandon Clint Hunold, Kenneth Cook and Kaleb Hunold; his brothers Wayne Ramey, James Ramey, Ronnie Owen and Buddy Ramey; his niece Terry Anderson; his nephews Johnny Owen and Tony Schattel; amongst other family members and friends.

The funeral service will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 11:00am., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
