Cicely was born on June 29, 1982 in Webster, Texas to Gery and Mary Gill. She graduated from Pearland High School. After high school, working at Oshman's, Cicely was going to college to pursue a career in massage therapy. After receiving her license for massage therapy, she soon met the love of her life and husband, Chris Hernandez. Throughout her life, Cicely spent her time gardening and taking care of animals but her passion for Catholicism and art has always shined through. Cicely and her husband became catechists, teaching high school confirmation classes at the Co-Cathedral, as well as created their own business where she got to explore her artistic abilities. Cicely passed away at the age of 39 on September 8th, 2021, the Blessed Mother's birthday. A perfect ending of life for a beautiful person and soul.

Cicely is survived by her husband Chris Hernandez; her step-daughter Brittany; her granddaughter Valerie. Her parents Gery and Mary Gill; three siblings & their children, sister Faith, daughters Savannah & Skylar, sister Geri, brother in-law Russell, daughter Zoe son RJ, brother Golden, sister-in-law Courtney, daughters Kirby & Kambry, son Dallas.

Cicely was known as Lyly by her close family. She was an amazing wife, daughter, best friend, sister, sister in-law, aunt, and artist. Her willingness to help others in need and her sweet laugh that could fill a room will always be remembered. Cicely had the most unforgettable wonderful giving soul.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, with visitation prior to mass at 8:30am. Rite of Committal will follow at 3:00pm at St. Mary Catholic Church Cemetery in Nada, Texas.
