Christi Jacobs Blackburn, 59, of Pasadena, TX was called home by the Lord on Sunday afternoon of August 18, 2024. Born on August 27,1964 to Bill and Maggie Jacobs, Christi was a part of the graduating class of 1982 at Sam Rayburn Highschool, and a lifelong resident of Pasadena.

She is survived by two children, Rachel (Grant) Kopycinski of Haslet, and Reid (Kamry) Blackburn of Colorado Springs, CO, two grandchildren, Holden Kopycinski and Liam Blackburn due February 2025, and one sister, Cindy Oquinn of Pasadena, TX, as well as numerous family and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Maggie Jacobs, brother, Mark Jacobs, and brother-in-law, Jimmy Oquinn.

Christi was a wonderful mother, the best Mimi to her grandsons, loving sister, faithful friend, and a follower of Jesus. Her sparkle and nurturing spirit were beloved by many, and she never met a stranger. She shared her kindness and love for people through cooking and her constant compassion for others in need. She approached life with a smile, bringing laughter and comfort to many.

Christi was employed with Mr. Electric of Bay Area for 11 years at the time of her death and was very close to her work family, as they were not only coworkers, but dear friends. Through her work there, Christi also became involved in the community of Deer Park and the Deer Park Chamber of Commerce.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Baptist Church Pasadena in the Chapel, 7500 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, TX 77505, 281-991-1232, at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 24, 2024. The visitation will be at 10:00 am.

Christi's unwavering desire to help others continued even after her death, as she was an Organ Donor and has been able to help many with her gift of new life. We praise God that He can use her in this way. Christi's legacy of love and care will be deeply missed by all her loved ones.
