Cheryl Ann Warner, age 70, of Pasadena, Texas, gained her wings on March 10th, 2026. Leaving behind her legacy of family, love, faith, and creativity. She was a graduate of Pasadena Highschool in the year of 1973. Born on June 17th, 1955, in Anderson, Indiana, Cheryl was the second of five siblings: Nancy Russell, Debra Wilkerson, William "Bill" Barker Jr., and Stacey Schoppa.

She is preceeded in death by her loving parents, Betty Pryer and William Barker Sr., as well as her stepfather, Ershell Pryer.

Her memory will always be held in the hearts of her loved ones: husband, Tony Warner; daughters – Kimberly Nandin and husband Eulalio, Rebecca Moore and husband Heath, Deana Nance and husband Lee; grandchildren – Reyen, Timothy, Kyra, Christopher, Alexandria, Taylor, Trevor, Kaylee, Laura, Jenny, and Daniel; as well as three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In her lifetime, she was also blessed with two adoring pets: Babygirl, a lhasa apso, and Cash, a black labrador.

After a thirty-year long career, spanning across many different organizations (like Merchants, Wells Fargo, and Texan State Bank), Cheryl retired and made her departure away from the world of banking at age 65. Her love to take care of others went beyond her work and was a large foundation in the path of her life. Family has been and will always be the most important thing to her. The joy in raising her daughters, and watching them grow to be strong women who had beautiful grandchildren was all she could have ever asked for.

Grandchildren that she was very involved with, including their school activities like band, orchestra, theater, and athletics. Vacations were also a core part of her time with her family, where she made many memories.

While in attendance at South Main Baptist Church, Cheryl was a part of the Sanctuary Choir and Handbells. Something that she had done alongside her husband, Tony, and greatly enjoyed.

One of her proudest moments in life was getting to see all three of her daughters be saved by our Heavenly Father and baptized; this continues on in her grandchildren.

Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, sister, and mamaw. Someone who walked every day in love. With her arms always open for healing hugs, ears always ready to listen, and her mind always knowing just the right words you needed to hear.

She loved her music, her Astros, and her family, and that legacy will always be remembered. We will never forget the joy, love, light, and laughter she has blessed all of our lives with.

Cheryl will be greatly missed by family and friends, and will live on in our hearts forever.

The service honoring Cheryl's life will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at South Main Baptist Church, 4300 East Sam Houston Parkway S, Pasadena, Texas 77505. A visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Monday, March 16, 2026, at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, Texas 77089.
