Charles Jordan, born August 19, 1950, has come to the end of his earthly journey. Surrounded by his family, he was ushered into his heavenly home on September 5, 2026.

He was a hardworking, family-first man who spent his life providing for and taking care of those he loved. He had a long career with Southwestern Bell and AT&T, always working hard to make sure his family had more than they needed.

After retirement, his greatest joy was his family. He loved having the kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids gathered at the house and would often say, "Look at all the generations here in this room." That was Charles's greatest legacy: his family.

One of the more memorable moments of his life was saving local resident Monica Garza from an attack by pitbulls in March of 2014. This act earned him recognition from Governor Abbott, a Carnegie Hero award, and more importantly to him, formed a friendship between the two families that would last a lifetime.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, one of his granddaughters and both son in laws. He is survived by his wife, Sharon of 57 years, his daughters, his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Until we are all gathered together again, we love you and will carry you with us always.
