Carolyn Roberson, 80 years of age went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus on Sunday morning February 19,2023. Her husband of 60 years, Thomas M. (Mike) Roberson was at her side. Carolyn was a member of Sagemont Church.

Born in Lake Charles Louisiana, on December 13, 1942. The oldest daughter of Robert and Elnora Horne. She was almost three years old before meeting her father who was stationed in N. Africa. After graduating Jones High School in Houston, she attended beauticians school and worked near Gulfgate Mall . She and Mike were married on February 1, 1963, and enjoyed 60 years and 19 days of life together. Carolyn was a stay at home mom while raising two sons.

Later she became loving Grammy to her first two grandchildren, Ryan Matthew and Morgan Nicole, children of son Robert. When the children were raised she became the Secretary for Faith Baptist Church in Pearland and served in that capacity for nine years. She was the administrator of the church school and fittness center while there. Her next career was as the Secretary for University of Houston Alumni Association where she served for another nine years while also providing beautifully hand printed caligraphy for the Presidents office for special occasions.

In earlier years Mike and Carolyn loved to travel in their motorhome. They travelled America from coast to coast as well as enjoying many cruises.

Carolyn suffered from a dibilitating back problem and had been home bound for some years before her passing. She would certainly want to thank all those friends and family who prayed for her health through the years and especially to her caregivers while she was in hospice. A special thanks to Sherian Wingate a God send till the end.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Thomas M. (Mike) Roberson. Her beloved sister Nora Horne.

Sons, Robert Malone, wife Mikki, his son Ryan Matthew and wife Rhiannon, children Ryan Jr. (deceased), Austin, Natalie, Jace, Gavin, and Logan. Daughter Morgan Nicole, children Hailey, and Jeremiah. Daughter Felicia.

David Michael, wife Suzette, son Logan, daughter Madison, daughters Sloane and Parker.

According to her wishes, her body will be cremated and her ashes will be scattered in the pecan orchard of Home Place Farm where she held wonderful memories of family gatherings.

A celebration of life will be held, on Saturday afternoon Feb. 25, from 3 to 5pm, at BellaVita Clubhouse, 1548 N. Riviera, Pearland Tx. 77581. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Flowers can be sent to this address.
