She was born on August 11, 1935, in Malvern, Arkansas, to Roy and Marcella Lee. The third of four daughters, Carolyn grew up surrounded by family and lifelong values of faith and devotion. She married the love of her life, Coleman Jones, on July 17, 1953, and together they shared 59 wonderful years of marriage before his passing.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Rick Jones and wife Patti; her son, Christopher Jones and wife Cindy; and her daughter, Angela Abel and husband Jesse. She was a proud grandmother to Melissa, Tara, Matthew, Courtney, Monica, and Cody. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Kali, Hayden, Seven, Hayes, Jinx, Fields, Tucker, and Relic, Jackson, Madison and Harrison and one great-great-grandson, Cameron. She is further survived by her sister, Barbara Gibbs, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends who will cherish her memory.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Coleman Jones; her parents, Roy and Marcella Lee; and her sisters, Theresa Bailey and Louise Crouse.

A faithful member of Sagemont Church since 1972, Carolyn devoted much of her life to serving others and sharing God's love.
