Carol Ann Armstrong, Saccane 81, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, after suffering complications from congestive heart failure and diabetes. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Carol was a gracious woman who lived a life filled with love, compassion, and courage. She was a devoted wife and mother who always put her family first. Her love and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering support for her family and friends.

Carol is survived and immeasurably missed by her family: Husband Gerry, son Jay, daughter-in-law Litza, grandson Jeremy Swift, his wife, Jessica, great grandchildren, Caden, Cameron, Derek, Isabella, niece Jeri Caperton, and her church family.

Carol was a registered nurse who served at Memorial Hermann Hospital for several years before going back to college. She graduated with a BS degree in education from the University of Houston. She worked with special needs children both at Sagemont church and Pearland High school.

Carol enjoyed reading, cooking, crocheting for others, working with children in bible study, fellowshipping with friends, going on mission trips, and sharing the gospel with others.  She will be deeply missed as she spends eternity with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A visitation will take place at Peevey Funeral Home, Monday June 19, 2023, starting at 6:00 pm. The following morning, Tuesday June 20, 2023, at 11:30 am there will be a memorial service also held at Peevey Funeral Home located at 12440 Beamer Rd. Houston, Texas 77089.

Rather than flowers, make any donations to the Student Ministry building at Sagemont.
