Cade Ian Lovett, 21, of Houston, TX, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.

Cade was born on July 28, 2000 in Nassau Bay, TX to parents Casey and René Gouger Lovett. Cade made his debut into this world 4 weeks early. Cade embraced everyone that he came into contact with a warm heart and a big smile. Cade never met a stranger and considered everyone he met a friend. He welcomed his sister into his life when he was six years old. He gave her first stuffed animal, a purple bear holding a rose. Cade was his Mom and Dad's biggest helper. After his sister was born, he looked forward to when his Uncle Norman would pick him up some mornings and take him to school. A little extra added benefit was when he would blow the train horn as he drove away.

Cade started playing baseball for Friendswood Little League at age eight, and continued playing both fall and spring seasons though Pony league. His Dad coached several of his teams which gave them both so much enjoyment. Cade made several of his long term friends from the years of baseball.

Cade enjoyed spending time saltwater fishing, swimming and riding golf carts at the Bay house at Camp Carancahua, in Palacios, TX. He also loved going to the "country" in Bedias, TX, riding four-wheelers, shooting guns and fresh water fishing. As a young boy he had a love for tractors and would always crawl into Pawpaw Norman's big John Deere.

Cade attended school in Friendswood until the last semester of his senior year, then received his high school diploma from Alvin.

Cade started taking courses at College of the Mainland. In his English course he needed to write a paper on a topic that was most important to him and small excerpt is quoted below:

"The thing that I admire the most is routine. Routine holds me together and gives me something to look forward to on a daily basis. It makes you feel very accomplished and you treasure it completely. If you're ever down or having a bad day, just remember you're doing everything for a reason and that reason is for yourself."

Cade is preceded in death by "Pawpaw" Bob R. Lovett, "Mamaw" Nancy L. Lovett, and "Big Pawpaw" Woodrow Wilson Gouger.

The family members left on earth to carry on Cade's legacy are: Dad Casey and girlfriend Angie Ware Crouch, Mom René Lovett-McClure and "bonus" dad Jeff McClure, Sister Abby Lovett, Grandparents Norman and Sharron Gouger, Uncle Eric and Aunt Kerry Woollen, cousins Lane, Luke and Landry, Uncle Norman Jr Gouger and Aunt Kathy, cousins Jenna and Ella, Uncle Rusty and Aunt Patsy Lovett, cousins Ross and Lauren Lovett Steiner, "bonus" brothers Kyle and Kevin McClure and their families.

Cade spent his last several months with Karina Martinez, a very special girl that made him extremely happy. Cade had a multitude of friends, both socially, and professionally, whom all have been significant at various times in his life. Cade would have wanted us to continue to live our lives as he did, doing what makes us happy and living life to the fullest.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, March 28, 2022, and the service celebrating Cade's life will be at 6:00pm Tuesday, March 29, 2022, both held at Peevey Funeral Home, with Kevin McClure officiating the service.
