Burna Dean Fawcett Graham was born February 8, 1924 in Port Arthur, Texas to Adele Marie Sewell Fawcett and Louis Isaac Fawcett. She grew up in Galena Park, and graduated from GPHS in 1941. Burna Dean married Ophe Lee Graham in 1940 and had one child, Geren Lee Graham. Lt. O.L. Graham was killed in action in WWII Italy August, 1944. After the war, Burna Dean married the younger brother of Ophe Lee, A.C. Graham, Jr. (Junior) and they had three children—Mary, Frank and John David. She was a stay at home Mom for most of the years.

She was predeceased by her husband A.C. Graham 1998 and their children, Mary in 2021, Frank in 2017, John David in 2017 and one grandson, Joel in 2021. She is survived by her son Geren and his wife Judy, Mary's husband Jerry Jennings, Frank's wife Peggy Graham and John's wife Pam Graham, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law Imojean Graham and brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Aline Graham.

She died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the age of 97 years, ten months and eleven days.

A special thanks to granddaughters, Christi, Julie and Stacey for their loving care of Mimi; to her son-in-law Jerry for sharing his home and for caregivers Kim, Celita and Lisa helping make her last days better.

The service celebrating Burna Dean's life will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, December 18, 2021, at First Baptist Church Pasadena, with visitation one hour prior to the service. She will be privately laid to rest at Forest Park East Cemetery.
