Bradley Lester Barker, 42, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, TX entered the gates of Heaven on April 30, 2022. Brad was born on April 14, 1980 in Pasadena, Tx to Lester and Sheila Barker.

Brad was born and raised in Pasadena, TX and was very proud to be a native Texan. He attended Fisher Elementary for his early education. Brad went to Park View Intermediate and later graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in 1998.

Brad loved all sports from a young age. Brad played football and baseball in his youth and continued playing football throughout high school. He continued with his love of sports as he supported the Astros, Texans, and Rockets.

Brad was a devout Christian and loved Jesus. He never doubted his beliefs and would always talk about being in God's Army. Brad was baptized at First Baptist Church, Dickinson, TX on June 8, 2014.

Brad had a deep love of music. He was the karaoke king, and could aways be found listening to country music and singing along with all of his favorite songs. Brad and his dad would listen to their country gospel playlist while they were driving to and from all of their many taqueria breakfasts. If you could hear music blaring throughout the house, you were sure he was cooking up some extravagant meal for everyone. Whether it be cooking inside on the stove or firing up the grill, he loved to cook for people because he wanted to put joy in others' lives.

"La Vida Loca", Brad's favorite saying truly embodies his spirit. He had a large personality and a large repertoire of movie quotes to match. There was never a dull moment in conversation with Brad. He was a jokester and always wanted to make people laugh with his hilarious commentary.

Brad is survived by his parents Lester and Sheila Barker, his sisters Heather Barker and Breanna Barker, his beloved dogs Phoebe, Moomoo, Cikala (Little Boy), and Bailee. His Uncle Robby Robertson and Aunt Beverly Robertson, Freddy and Ina Balerio, and his numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Harold and Pauline Barker, and Grandparents Bill and Ruby Robertson.

Brad will live in our hearts forever and be remembered as a kind, fun loving, big hearted, gentle giant who just wanted to fly free.

Brad's Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm., Thursday, May 5th, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Pasadena in the Chapel.
