Bonnie Lou Dismukes, age 93, passed away on January 13, 2023. She was born in Houston, Texas on September 25, 1929, to Forest Dale and Jimmie Vera Wright. She graduated from Milby High School in 1947 and from a 2-year business school in 1948. She married Zene Byron Wilbanks, her high school classmate, on February 25, 1950. Bonnie was a devoted wife and mother to her three children. Once the youngest child was seven and in school, Bonnie became the Office Manager for Allied Metals, Inc. In this role she administered the day-to-day functions of the office, including Assistant to the President, Payroll accountant and served on the board of Directors as the Corporate Secretary for 33 years, retiring at age 65. She was well respected and very much appreciated in all these roles.

Bonnie was a devoted mother and wife to Zene for 24 years until he passed away from cancer in 1973. In 1976, Bonnie married her across-the-street neighbor, who was also a widower. Bonnie and Ed Fuller were happily married for 13 years until he also passed. In 1991, Bonnie met Joe Dismukes and they were married in September 1991. Bonnie and Joe enjoyed 8 years of marriage before he also passed away. Bonnie was a caring and loving person who was strong and resilient and was blessed to have married three very good men and had beautiful marriages with all three.

Bonnie was a Christian, had great dedication to her family and her faith, from which she drew her resilience and determination. She was a member of South Main Baptist Church in Pasadena and later Shady Oaks Baptist Church in Pearland. She served over 60 years as an active member and in various roles for the Order of Eastern Star.

Bonnie was a kind soul who cared for all she met. She was authentic, had a keen wit and made all she came in contact with comfortable and at ease. She lived a life of dignity and respect and was a Christian model for which we all aspire. She was an exceptional person and will be forever missed and always in our hearts.

Bonnie is survived by her sister, Francis Denton, her sister-in-law, Jerry Wright Muhlbach and was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Truman Wright and sister, Freddie J Hubert.

Bonnie is survived by her three children: Nancy Lou White, Jeanetta Ann McFeron and Danny Zene Wilbanks & his wife, Teresa Corley Wilbanks and two stepchildren: (with her 2nd husband, Ed Fuller), Deena Collins of Ohio and Allen Fuller and his wife, Peggy Fuller; twenty-four Grandchildren: Zene and Eliza Andrews, Kristin and Henry Nguyen, Jamie Mullins, Katie McFeron, Ryan and Danielle McFeron, Allison and Matt Pearce, Sarah Wilbanks, Steven Wilbanks, Laura & Steve Schramm, Ahren & Alicia Simmons, Ben & Crystral Simmons, Rob & Eve Schafer, Joana & Brian Nami and Megan & Lee Grammier; thirty-six wonderful Great Grandkids, as well as numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 20, 2023 at Grand View Funeral Home & Memorial Park /Bethany Cemetery at 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena TX 77505.

A reception following the burial service will be held from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Faithridge Church, 4711 Center Street, Deer Park TX 77536.
