Billy Don Glover passed away at home on January 24, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents Willis and Bernice Glover his wife Marilyn Evans Glover and brothers Buddie Gene Glover and James Douglas Glover. He is survived by his sister Leeota Jinkins, brother Bobby Ray Glover and sister-in-law Lynne, his son Rusty, grandchildren Travis Glover, Courtney Glover, Alyssa Glover and fiancé Ben Pulido, and great grandson Jackson Pulido.

Bill Was born on October 10, 1936, in Ashland Oklahoma. He spent his childhood in Lake Jackson Texas before enlisting in the United States Air Force. After spending four years in the Air Force, he began a thirty-two-year career with Southwestern Bell Telephone retiring in 1991. He made many good friends during his career with Southwestern Bell and maintained close relationships beyond the workplace. Bill's favorite pastime was hunting and spending time with friends and family at the deer lease. He was also a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and volunteered for many years on committees.

Bill was a devoted husband, loving father grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a great friend to many and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Wednesday February 1, 2023 at 10:00 am followed by service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale.
