Billie Jean Niemeyer, of Houston, Texas sadly passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 94.

Billie was born to Walter Nix and Effie Nix on September 5, 1929 in Dangerfield, Texas.

She attended Ball High School in Galveston, Texas, where she met her soon to be husband Alfred Eugene Niemeyer, Jr. She started a family and worked as a beautician and later, as a secretary. She soon had two children and moved to Houston, Texas, in 1968.

She is preceded by her husband, Afred in 2008, and her daughter Sandra in 2023. Billie is survived by her son Alfred Eugene Niemeyer, III and wife Kathleen Niemeyer. She also is survived by her grandchildren Stephanie Nichole Rider and husband Michael Wayne Rider, Teresa Lugene Dahlquist and husband Christopher Dahlquist, Terry Wayne Church and wife Alicia Ann Church, Timothy Church, and Laura Lee Cargill. Billie has great-grandchildren; Mary Ashley Bolger and husband Matt Bolger, Jacob Carmille, Katie Killian and husband Cameron Killian, Dekota Cargill, and Sabastion Cargill, Celene Meadow Church, Abigail Gui Church, Sawyer Grace Church, and Sloane Faith Church.
