With hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Betty Annette Keen Doucette on September 5, 2025. Annette, also affectionately known as NeeNaw, entered eternal rest at the age of 89. Her life was a radiant testament to faith, family, and joy, a legacy that will echo through generations.

Born on June 28, 1936, Annette lived a life steeped in Christian values, embodying grace, compassion, and unwavering devotion to God. Her faith was not just spoken, it was lived in every act of kindness, every prayer whispered, and every soul she lifted with her boundless love.

She was the cornerstone of her family, a devoted wife to her beloved husband for an extraordinary 72 years. Their marriage was a beautiful example of love and laughter, a partnership that weathered seasons and shone brighter with time. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, wisdom, and the kind of love that endured.

As a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, NeeNaw was unmatched. She nurtured with tenderness, guided with wisdom, and celebrated every milestone with uncontainable joy. Her children and grandchildren knew her as their fiercest cheerleader, their gentle counselor, and their source of endless hugs, homemade cookies, and goodie bags.

Through their years together Annette and Alton enjoyed miles and miles of travel with special friends in their camping club, many of whom they are still friends with today.

Annette was preceded in death by her parents Eustice and S.T. Keen. Additionally, she is preceded by a grandchild Matthew Moskey, Jr. and a great grandson, Collin Duff. Annette is survived by her devoted husband Alton Doucette, her loving daughters Pamela Cox (Son in Law, Larry Cox) and Paula Moskey. Surviving grandchildren are April Duff (husband Travis Duff), Randy Cox (Wife Kristi Cox), Amy Linney (Husband Jake Linney), Michael Cox, and Sean Moskey. Surviving great-grandchildren are Lauren Duff, Jake Linney, Jr., Cohen Cox, Tanner Linney, Kynlee Cox, Logan Cox, and Kamryn Cox.

Annette's special joy was attending school, church, and extracurricular events of her grandchildren missing very few in her lifetime. Her face would light up when she saw her grandbabies and theirs would light in return.

Though we mourn her passing, we celebrate the extraordinary life she lived. Heaven has gained an angel, and we will carry her light in our hearts forever.

Annette's service of celebration and remembrance will be held in the chapel at First Baptist Church of Pasadena, 7500 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Wednesday, September 10, at 11:00am, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, Texas.
