On October 17, 2021, in Pasadena, Texas, Betty Cline went home to be with her Heavenly Father. Betty was born on June 28, 1935 in Carthage, Mississippi to Eugene and Annie Bell Malone. Betty was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Leake County Mississippi.

After a career with Pasadena General Hospital, Pasadena, TX as an admitting clerk, she went on to return to school obtaining her Bachelor's degree from Jackson State, Jackson, MS retiring as an elementary teacher. Betty loved life and lived life on her terms, if you told her, she could not do something, regardless of what it was, she would prove you wrong every time.

Betty had a big personality, loved music, loved to dance and spending time with family and friends. She was a polio survivor and never let polio stand in the way of doing what she loved. When she became ill (lost her vision), she moved back to Texas to live with her son, Jimmy and went on to live in Vista Continuing Care. Under their watchful eye and great care, she lived to be 86.

Betty is survived by Sons: Jimmy (Sharon) Cline, Pasadena, Tx, Terry (Sharon) Cline, Coral Gables, FL. Grandchildren: Kevin (Vanessa) Cline, Pearland, TX, Keith (Sumer) Cline, Pearland, TX, Tia Cline (Matt Torrens) Coatesville, PA, Chris (Lisa) Cline, Downingtown, PA, Karri Wilkerson (Joe Brown) Brookhaven, MS, 16 Great-grandchildren, 3 Great-great-grandchildren, Sisters: Brenda Fairchild, Carthage, MS and Reba Perry, Carthage, MS. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by Husband, Walter D. Cline, Parents: Eugene Malone and Annie Bell Malone, Daughter: Kelli Cline Wilkerson Loflin, Granddaughter: Kasey Wilkerson Herring, Great-grandson: Kaleb Malone Cline, Sisters: Pearl Slater, Nell Paxton and Jane Bolin, and brother: Boyd Malone.

The family would like to thank everyone for the kind words and prayers. Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Visitation will be held at Wilcox Funeral Home in Carthage, MS on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 9:00am. Funeral services to follow at 10:30am with burial to follow at Pearl Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
