Our dear mother, Betty Waddle Callaway, was born in Richmond, Texas on December 1, 1940. She was the third of 6 children born to Robert Berton Waddle, Sr. and Bessie Chloe Waddle.

On the morning of October 28, 2023, Betty took her last breath on this earth after a very long battle with dementia. She was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, Morris A. Callaway, and 4 of her siblings.( Robert B. Waddle, Jr., Frank E. Waddle, Joe Wilson Waddle, and Billy Leon Waddle)

Betty is survived by her precious sister Barbara (Lutz) Chapman, her daughter Morrye Rumbaugh, son Murray A. "Bubba" Callaway, son Joseph W. Callaway. She is also survived by her son-in-law Chuck Rumbaugh, grandson Trevor Rumbaugh, granddaughter Jessica Rumbaugh, her great grandson Adam Rumbaugh, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The memorial service will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Tuesday, November 14th, at 3:00pm, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
