With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Bernice Timme, who left this world on December 7, 2024, at the age of 92. Born on September 30, 1932, Bernice devoted her life to caring for her family and sharing 71 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Albert Charles "Charlie" Timme.

Before dedicating herself to raising their four children, Bernice worked at Prudential Life Insurance. Later, she spent over a decade in data and accounting at Mobile Equipment and MegaHaus.

Bernice was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She and Charlie built a loving home filled with warmth, laughter, and countless cherished memories. She is survived by her son, Albert C. Timme III; her daughter, Deborah Joiner, and husband, Steve; her son, Stephen Timme, and wife, Margaret; and her son, Jeffrey Timme, and wife, Marcie. She was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Rogers and Mattie Dunsmore, as well as her brother, William "Billy" Rogers.

Bernice had a passion for gardening and embroidery, and she delighted in browsing through her extensive cookbook collection in search of special recipes to share with loved ones. She and Charlie formed lasting friendships during their years of full-time camping, enjoying their time together collecting stones, making jewelry, and traveling. Whether embarking on an adventure or taking a simple trip to the beach to enjoy pizza and watch the ships pass by, they cherished every moment spent together.

Bernice's kindness, love, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on March 8, 2025, at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Rd, Houston, TX. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the service at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Bernice's honor.
