Barbara A. Owens, born in Houston, TX on September 14, 1942, passed away on July 13, 2024. As a resident of Pasadena, TX for most of her life, she was a long-time member and former dedicated preschool director of First Baptist Church, Pasadena. Barbara will be remembered for her deep faith and dedication to her family. She was a beloved Mother, "Granny", Sister, and friend. Barbara loved the beach and cherished taking her dogs for a drive. Her unwavering faith in God and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Benny J. Owens.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, DeAnne and Michael Wilson; son, Darrin Owens; grandchildren, Haley, Morgan, Taelor, Darrian, and Joshua; ten great-grandchildren; and sister and brother-in-law, Carole and Eddie Dillow.

The memorial service will be held at Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 3:00pm with visitation one hour prior to the service at First Baptist Church Chapel, 7500 Fairmont Pkwy, Pasadena, TX 77505
