Ann Lavelle Barrington went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2021. She was born on August 19, 1935, as the oldest child of Bud Henry Barrington and Ida Lee Barrington. She was born in Monroe, LA and, as a young woman, moved to Houston, TX to work as an executive secretary in the Oil and Gas industry.

She is survived by her younger brother, Calvin Lee Barrington, her two sons, Michael A. King and Christopher King, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many close friends.

Ann will be best remembered for her love of God and love of her family. She lived her life as Jesus wanted, knowing that she would one day reside in heaven.

To the people who know her best, her love and friendship will be missed.

The celebration of Ann's reunion with Christ will be held at Praise Chapel in Webster, TX on Monday, October 4, 2021. Visitation will begin at 10 am followed by services at 11 am. Ann will be laid to rest in Riverview Cemetery in Monroe, LA on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 11 am.
