Andrew Schuelke, age 39, of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 25, 2025. He was born on May 21, 1986, in Lake Jackson, Texas.

He graduated from Clear Lake High School in 2008 and left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to be part of his world.

Andrew is lovingly remembered by his devoted mother, Melanie Barrett, and his stepfather, Danny, who was his dad in every way that truly mattered. His grandfather, Franklin Schuelke, along with his aunts, uncles, and cousins, will forever carry forward his memory with deep affection.

His memory is cherished with profound love and deep gratitude, especially by Francine Chambers—not only his devoted nurse of 36 years, but also a steadfast presence whose care and compassion made her part of his chosen family—and by Roy Davis, his trusted personal chauffeur in the early years and loyal friend throughout. Both Francine and Roy, along with their entire families who grew up with Andrew and shared in his life's journey, stood faithfully by his side, offering unwavering support and friendship that meant the world to him and his mom and dad.

Andrew lived with courage and grace through many physical challenges, including cerebral palsy, seizure disorder and being legally blind. Despite these obstacles and more, Andrew touched countless lives with his warmth, resilience, and unwavering spirit.

Though Andrew could not speak, his joy was unmistakable. He recognized familiar voices instantly, and his face would light up with a radiant smile, speaking volumes without ever saying a word.

Andrew's time with us was brief, but the depth of his impact was immeasurable. He is whole and in perfect body now—at peace and held in everlasting love. His light continues to shine in the hearts of all who knew him.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the many doctors, nurses, and caregivers who compassionately supported Andrew over the past 39 years. Your dedication brought comfort, hope, and strength throughout his journey, and we remain forever thankful for the care you provided.

A celebration of Andrew's life will take place on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Peevey Funeral Home, located at 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, Texas 77089. Family, friends, and all whose lives he touched are warmly invited to join in honoring his memory.
