Andrew C. Brame, affectionately known as Andy, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2024, in Friendswood, Texas, at the age of 77. Born on September 20, 1946, in Houston, Texas, Andy led a life full of love, service, and joy.

Andy is predeceased by his beloved mother, Myrtle Earlene "Deady" Molen Sealy, father William Cleveland Brame and his grandparents, James Andrew "Jim" Sealy and Nancy Adeline Sealy.

He is survived by his devoted spouse, Dorothy "Dot" L. Brame, and his five cherished children: Andrea Brame Kite, Amber Bahl and her spouse Jon, Chris Shaw, Thomas Shaw, and Jason Shaw. Andy is also fondly remembered by a host of grandchildren and extended family and friends.

A proud veteran, Andy served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War as a BM3 aboard the USS Forrest B. Royal DD872, a ship that delivered fierce bombardments of naval gun fire in support of troops in combat. Following his honorable discharge, he dedicated many years to Houston Light and Power leading teams of linemen in the construction of much of Houston's electrical infrastructure before retiring from Centerpoint Energy. Andy was an alumnus of Milby High School.

Andy had a passion for fishing, whether on the bay, lake, or in the wilds of Alaska. Saturday evenings were reserved for big band music on the radio, with Ernest Tubb being a favorite artist. An excellent dancer he loved to two step and waltz with his lovely lady Dot.

Andy's joyful spirit created many cherished moments with family and friends.
