Andre Marion Borden, 53 of Houston, Texas passed away in the early morning hours of March 4, 2024.

Andre was a son, grandson and nephew who is survived by his Aunts, Alicia Ortego of Houston, Angela Perkins of Kingman, Arizona, Gloria Harrison of Katy, his Uncle Anthony of Katy as well as his girlfriend Dora.

Andre had many cousins, Alan Harrison of Houston, Jackie Campise of Katy, Michael Ishee of Austin, Kenneth Ishee of Houston, Triston Harrison of Las Vegas, Joel Perkins of Houston and John Ortego of Willis, Texas.

Andre also had many nieces, Nina Campise of Katy, Lia Campise of Katy, Rory Harrison of Houston.

Born on September 27, 1970 in Houston, Texas to the late Adrienne Mary Harrison and William H Borden Jr.  Andre grew up in Houston and attended North Shore High School.

Andre was raised by his mother Adrienne and his Grandmother Hazel Mary Harrison in Pearland where he enjoyed riding bikes, go carts and playing his guitar.

Andre suffered from mental illness starting in his late 20's and struggled after loosing his mother on September 17, 2002.

Andre's passion was playing his acoustic  and electric guitars. His favorite band was Led Zeppelin and his favorite song was "Stairway to Heaven".   We would enjoy listening to him play his guitar knowing that he had no formal lessons but self taught.

Andre was born into the Catholic faith which at times gave him pause during difficult times.   The last four years of Andre's life were extremely difficult and his mental health became more severe. Andre lost his benefits causing him to become homeless.  Andre was supported by his loving Aunts Alicia and Angela and his Uncle Anthony.

Andre's Grandfather Alton Lavell Harrison was his father figure and mentor in his early years due to the absence of his biological father.  His mother Adrienne was deeply devoted to her son up until her untimely death on September 17, 2002 just ten days before his 32nd birthday.

In memory of Andre's life and struggle with mental illness, please remember him as a happy teenager and loving young man.  He was devoted to his mother and grandmother all his life which never wavered.

Although we greave his untimely passing, we have solace knowing that Andre is no longer suffering and is now in Heaven with his mother, father, grandfather and grandmother.

Rest in Peace Andre you are now in the kingdom of Jesus Christ forever.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Park Lawndale, at 10am, Tuesday, March 19, 2024.
