Alice Mary Burrage went to be with the Lord, on December 19, 2021. Alice was a devout Catholic, which sustained her faith throughout her life.Born in 1931, in the Sudan, Alicelearnedmultiple languages, was an acting member of the arts, and graduated fromAmerican University in Cairo. She later met Eric Burrage,who proposed to her on Mount Sinai. Theymarried in boththe Catholicchurchin Cairo and in the Episcopal Church in England. They moved to Texas, where Alice established her career at Kirby Petroleum and later at Roy M. Huffington Inc, as one of Houston's first female Landman.

She was a devotedwife and mother who taught CCD and Catechism class at St Helen's Church in Pearland. After a long career in the oil industry, Alice retiredand volunteered at hospice and was active in manycharitable organizations.She was an outgoing person who loved life and everyone that was around her. She was a friend to all and loved by all who knew her.

Alice is preceded in death by her sisters, Isis Gadalla, HodaKhalil, andHelen Gadalla. She is survived by her brother, Aziz Gadalla ,and wife Irene and family. She leaves behind her children, Marleine Oren (Richard), Monique Burrage , and Charles Burrage; her grandchildren, Ashley Colditz (Ryan), Eric Oren (Mary Beth), Cameron Oren (Iman) and Brandon Maclin Burrage. Her great grand children, Blake, Gavin, Carter, Gerritt, and Zara. Alice had many cousins who she loved deeply and with whom she had very close relationships. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The funeral service will be held at St Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway , Houston Texas 77025, Friday, January 21, 2022 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
