Alexis Lillian (Lexi) Shanks was called home peacefully in her sleep by the Lord on December 2, 2022. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Dolores Jo Shanks, brother Trevor William Shanks. She is survived by her father, Albert William Shanks, Jr., mother, Kimberly Fortune and brother, Parker Shanks.

Lexi was born in Pasadena, Texas on July 15, 2005. She graduated early from Deer Park High School and was a member of the 2023 graduating class. She was 17 years young at her passing.

Lexi was a daddy's girl and was loved deeply by all that knew her. She could light up a room just by entering it and was always quick with a laugh and a smile. She could be silly and make you laugh at some of her silly ways. She knew what she wanted and couldn't be steered away from her goals. She loved animals and nature and travelling, also enjoyed movies and playing cards. She marched to the beat of her own drum no matter what someone else thought. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 10:00am until 11:00am., a memorial service will follow 11:00am., at Peevey Funeral Home; 12440 Beamer Road Houston, Tx 77089.
