Adriana Borrego, 52, of League City entered into heaven April 9, 2025. She was born September 18, 1972 to her mother Delia Borrego and father Jesus Borrego in Brownsville, Texas.

Adriana attended Austin high school, after graduation she continued her education and gained her Bachelor's degree from UHD. She followed that by completing the police academy and became a Houston Police Sergeant. She was a dedicated officer, and served with unwavering commitment to protecting our community. She was a true hero, always willing to go above and beyond. There are no words to describe her love for her family-blood and blue, she was made specifically for both. Adriana was blessed with a large and loving family.

She raised her two children with patience, discipline and humility. She taught them to be loving and respectful. Adriana was an educator at heart. She was kind and softly spoken, and always had time to answer a question or solve a problem, no matter how small. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones. We are eternally grateful for her service and sacrifice. She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering spirit. We will carry her memory in our hearts forever.

Adriana is survived by her father Jesus Borrego, son Joshua Romero, daughter Priscilla Garcia, grandchild baby Romero, her brother Dante Borrego and sister Mayra Solis.

She is preceded in death by her mother Maria Delia Borrego and nephew Julian Solis.

She loved God and God loved her…Psalms 147:3 " He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.".

The family will receive friends at Peevey Funeral Home, Tuesday, April 22, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Houston's First Baptist Church, 7401 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024, Wednesday, April 23, at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
