It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Abraham Daly Jr., a loving husband, father, son and grandfather, who left us peacefully on the early morning of July 23rd, 2024 to join our lord in Heaven, at the age of 55. Born on February 2nd, 1969, in Pasadena, Texas, Abe lived a life full of love, service, and dedication.

A proud graduate of J. Frank Dobie High School, Abe pursued his passion for aviation by attending flight school after graduation. As a child, he was an active Explorer Scout and contributed to the yearbook club as a photographer during high school. Abe's remarkable dedication was evident throughout his youth and continued to shine into adulthood. For over 30 years, he diligently served the city of Houston as a police officer and detective in the burglary and theft division. His commitment to public service extended beyond his professional duties; he volunteered for over 20 years with the Forest Bend Fire Department and played a crucial role on the security team at Sagemont Church.

In 2019, Abe married the love of his life, Jami Daly and through this union, gained two amazing children, Daimian and Diamonndlee while being a devoted father to his two beautiful children, Elizabeth and Alex Daly. His love for his family was boundless, and he was the best dad anyone could ever ask for. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering support were felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Even as Abe fought his own battles, he was always at peace with his faith in God. His love for our lord was evident in every aspect of his life, and he made sure that everyone around him knew the importance of having faith and trusting in God's plan. Abe's faith was not just a personal conviction but a guiding force that shaped his actions and interactions, leaving a lasting impact on his family, friends, and community. His unwavering belief was a source of strength and inspiration to all who knew him.

Abe quickly discovered a passion for woodworking, finding joy in creating furniture and renovating his house. He extended his skills to help friends with renovations in New Mexico and New Braunfels. Abe cherished spending time with his family on the patio and loved watching his favorite movie, Top Gun: Maverick. His talent for photography led him to capture moments at special events and even pass on this hobby to his children. Known for his sweet tooth, Abe never missed an opportunity to join in for a sweet treat, and especially loved his favorite German chocolate cake. He also loved road trips and was a silly, happy-go-lucky guy, always making jokes and bringing laughter to every moment.

Abe will be deeply missed by his wife, Jami, his children Alex, Daimian, Diamonndlee, and Elizabeth, his parents Judy and Abraham Daly Sr., siblings Janiese and Leila and grandkids Richie, Emma, and Kane, as well as the rest of his family and friends and of course his beloved canine, Ronin. While our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in the countless memories we shared with him, the enduring impact he made in our lives, and his undying faith, which continues to comfort and guide us.

In celebration of Abe Daly Jr.'s life, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Sagemont Church, reflecting his faith and lifelong dedication to helping others.

The service honoring Abe's life will be held at Sagemont Church, Saturday, July 27, 2024, the family will welcome friends from 11:30am until 1:00pm, the service will follow at 1:00pm.
